The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) recently unveiled their new Heart of the Forest campaign, outlining their recent acquisition of CEMEX (the old cement plant in Santa Cruz County) and future goals for redwood conservation in the Bay Area. An integral component of their message is highlighting the importance of redwood forests for a wide variety of wildlife, including mountain lions. This new video features Chris speaking about how mountain lions rely on our local forests for their survival and includes photos and videos that long-time followers of this blog will easily recognize.
We hope you will check out the video below and visit POST to learn more about their important campaign!
